

This is a selection of projects that Brian is currently involved in.
Films:
'Stripped'
(Writing, acting & directing). This psychological drama is being
produced by northern accent television. Currently in production.
Synopsis: Four years ago a young woman was kidnapped by a deluded admirer
who escaped capture by the police. Now, a dectective tracks him down,
and is determined to discover the reasons behind the man's actions. Is
he prepared for the bizarre truth?
'Workinghead'
(Writing, acting & directing). A surreal sit-com in the tradition
of 'The League of Gentlemen''and 'Spaced'. Brian has written the pilot
for a six episode TV series, due to be filmed by Northern Accent Television.
Featuring Colin Baker (Dr Who), Paul Daniels, Uri Geller, and Steven Pinder
(Brookside) in cameo appearances.
Synopsis: In the northern town of Workinghead, the local cult TV fan
group have organised their annual gathering - Fabcon 2005. The star guest
is faded 1980s gameshow host and bawdy comedian Jimmy Beagle. But the
group have not reckoned on a disgruntled losing contestant gunning for
revenge!
Colin's scene was shot in manchester (april '05). Monies from screenings
will go to F.S.I.D. (The Foundation of the Study of Infant Deaths), Registerd
Charity No. 262191.
Workinghead evolved from an original script by Brian called 'Destiny
of the Doctors'. Written in 2003, the story concerned Paul McGann's 8th
Doctor meeting his future incarnations. At one point Brian approached
Scottish actor David Tennant, then starring in BBC One's 'Blackpool',
to make a cameo appearance as a future Doctor. David initially accepted
but had to decline due to major work commitments.
Brian's psychic abilities know no bounds as he also championed Chester-born
actor Daniel Craig as a possible new James Bond. Mr Gorman also knows
who will win the World Cup but the bookies have put a price on his head
if he tells!
Screenplays:
'Borderliners'
(Writing). A pilot for a six episode television series based on an original
screenplay co-authored with Chris Harvey (in 1997).
Synopsis: Action adventure with government agents in a mix of 'Spooks'
and the novels of Phillip K Dick.
Plays:
'What Have I Done to Deserve This?'
(Writing, acting & directing). An adult comedy in the style of John
Godber and Peter Kay.
Synopsis: Two disillusioned security men ponder the meaning of life while
working in the worst club in the north west.

Brian is producing a series of illustrations based on the smash hit BBC
TV series starring David Tennant and Billie Piper.
